That's the weirdest story I ever heard GREAT start though - very cool! Unrelated, but I just hired the new version of one of these Fiats when I was on vacation last week - little sucker was cute! Super fun to drive, and TINY. Can't wait to see this come together Kim!

Well, this build is moving slowly ahead. The body is coming along, and the very first mock up is allways very exciting. This is a VERY early mock up, the body has - of course - lots of work before its finished. The engine and wheels on the pictures, are not the ones that will go in the finished model, its just for mock up purpose. The same goes with the frame... I still havent decided about which wheels to use, but I have an idea... And it aint wheels from a car.... A good thing is, that I have found several perfect detailing pieces, that will go VERY well with the name of the car... I think it will be okay....

Thank you James Well, to be honest, I have NO idea what that chassis is... It has been in my parts box for ages.... But its quite big... Or long....

Yay! Those wheels have the right balance for that size and shape. That's going to work well...

Yeah, I will try out some different wheel setups, but not until the body is closer to finished. I need the proportions of the body to be ready, before deciding for which wheels to use

Things are moving forward with my first name game build.... I decided to use the old Chevy frame afterall, (I was told it is a Chevy frame), so I modified it a bit, and need to do some more work on it. I also decided to use the very wide Horn Toad wheels afterall, so I have to dig up a rear axle, since the Horn Toad rear axle has a non-center housing. The body is coming along nicely too. It may not show on this picture compared to the lastpics, but I have quite a lot of work put into the body since last picture. It has been adjusted here and there, to make up for a couple of minor miscalculations I started on the floor board, and as you can see, the roof is on, and are currently drying up. So all in all progress, and I really enjoy this build.

Oh wow man, that's just AWESOME! I love it! The way you've incorporated the Fiat parts into the C cab body that you've fabricated is GENIUS. Too cool!
Those wheels and tyres look GREAT on there too, it's a reall cool look! What is the front axle from?
Great job boddy! Really impressive!

Thank you my friend. Its allways nice when someone appriciates the work The front axle is also form the Horn Toad/Rattler. You can see an identical front axle on my Rattler, in my recent Rattler post in the "Completed show rods" section coffincorner.proboards.com/thread/20271/rattler

Thanks The engine is the straight six from Monograms `53 Chevy... I guess the original Fiat motor wasn't gonna cut it, huh? Might make a nice starter motor for the Chevy block though
