Hi gang, We got some suggestions from Kabdriver and what came out of the discussion was creating a set of tires that were of the Richard Carroll style. The thought would be of a cast resin. Comments welcome as Kev and I were discussing wheel sizes that would need to fit this style tire.  |

These have been offered several times already, everyone I've spoken with seems to have a few sets kicking around, so I honestly don't know what the demand would be. They are neat, but in my opinion, they only look right on very few builds; they were made to fit the style of Richard Carrol's personal builds; which were very unique....so, pretty limited use. As far as the wheels go, several ones will fit these, usually guys either machine an aluminum tube for the depth ( or simply cut down aluminum stock pipe & and go with various 1/25 wheels of their choice.  |

By contrast, I've been DYING to get my hands on some originals for at least a year now and I've never found a set. I'd use these things by the BUCKETLOAD...I know there were some resin copies out there for a while but last time I asked easrlier this year only one person had some that they'd maybe part with, and then they wouldn't sell them anyway even when I offered above-sensible money. Even the COPIES are hard to find, apparently. Except for all you klowns who have like 20 sets stashed, of course  I think it's SUPER exciting that these could come back on the market again - I've had an eBay alert set for over a year in case any come up and I haven't managed to get a set in all that time, so this is exciting news for me! And that rendering of them just makes me droooool. Imagine being able to just buy these like it was the 60s again! I'm sold on this! Again, just my opinion - but Mike and Kev do cool work and I'll be a happy customer when these come out 👊 |

l cast those tires years ago for this site everyone wanted them and really only ever seen
them put on a couple of builds
l must have cast at least a hundred sets
you would be wasting your time
most of them went to ebay to make a quick buck
