Huh, interesting! So I guess that goes right through to the interior huh? I wonder if they finished that part before it was painted or if that's just how it always was.
Fascinating! Thanks for sharing that pic Scratch! Too cool!

Thanks ZZZLAD!!!!!....I highly appreciate.it's kinda tuff competing with a computer........lol In building this thing there were a few angles I've opted not to spend a whole lot of time on.....I would spend a life time trying to make it exact....Heck!! I'm right behind HobbyBobby in not finishing builds as it is.......lolol Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha... Good things just want to have a while! Just as I imagine my projects in my head, as they would have to be, I can not go on, with only a quick dash, it must be true, not to say perfect...

Boban...as I build my roach coach I put a panel in mine ...to which I thought had it, but the more research I found that the area between the 2 front wheels is open as where as on mine I boxed it in still giving my chasis room and suspension....now if you go look at the close ups inside the Roach where the steering wheel is you can see the ground like your Flintstone mobile....So if I where to sit in the drivers seat and had a passenger whilst driving it...we could both see the ground.....its not boxed in....

Well... ... you can not see this on this photos, but the whole fiberglass body can be tilted forward, so, the front of the body can not have a floor... ... the bodyhinges are behind the grille and the seats are rotatable to be able to enter... ... and in some pictures you can see a black floor directly under the seats, which is mounted on the chassis...

Exactly! my point not boxed in...open! The black floor is the ground... The only platform is where the seats are sitting. Steering wheel forward is open..

......my next build to go with the Roach Coach...see the similarities....I'm off and runnin fellas..... Well... ... now I do not believe that, Tony! The same is on my to-do list! I also started with the engines and wanted to install two next to each other, I collected some other parts, but then put the project on hold and removed an engine for this project: More: coffincorner.proboards.com/thread/16807/big-red-baron-version-update

Well! You say that to say what? You don't believe what? Your path of building is different then mine.. I get what your trying to say. But you and I are 2 different people. So it isn't up to you what you believe my intentions are.you have everyone beat by a long shot at unfinished builds. I have already had this engine long ago also..your not the only one with information, insight or even an imagination to source parts. Your life or even laziness could play a part in your unfinished builds.. Let's stop trying to be a know it all and get some progress on some builds for once.. We all appreciate the the wealth of information you relay to us from the internet..that we all have access to. I've noticed all the years we've both been on here you have not once commented on any of my builds.. Hmmmm! Why is that until now.. Then you come along and try to one up me or anyone else for some reason. You spend more time one upping people then building lately..sure your a masterful builder and so are a lot of people on this site and beyond..am I bitter? Not in the slightest, am I jealous far from it.. Is there tension maybe a little.. We are are all model builders so there will always be some sort of competition no matter what world we live in...keep on building my friend.. 😉
