Oh wow, what a gorgeous build to start us off with! That's really nice, good job buddy! Super clean, really nicely done. I've wanted one of these in my collection for a while.
The polished plastic looks great, too! Beautiful work! What do you use to polish it?

Jim...I used all 3 stages of Tamiya polishing compound followed by Mother's Carnuba Paste Wax.

Beautiful looking Beetle ! This one is still on my list to get , I know there is a reissue , but I'm still hoping to pick up a restorable original

seems they reissued that one a few times I recall the early iron and a silver one from the 80s
