This is the latest reissue of Monogram's "Badman". - Paint is Tamiya TS-16 - Hooker and Isky decals are from the stash to replace decals not included in this reissue - Tire lettering is from Slixx - Left off the mud flaps and air dam (imho looks much better with out them) Thanks for looking...

Another great build Pete! Really nice. That color looks about perfect - and those chrome spears look REALLY good man. Is that BMF?

It looks really great Pete, nice job What did you do to the tires, they have this dull finish... Paint or dull clearcote? Or just sanding? Really nice Badman

That actually looks a LOT better than the old "rough them up with sandpaper" trick. I'll DEFINITELY be trying that trick - they look GREAT!

Nice work! You can't go wrong with the Badman. I like the yellow tire decals. I agree on the air dam and mud flaps. I left them on mine for some reason. I guess I was a purist that day.

OUTSTANDING!
Question please - I've commissioned a detailed die cast build of the BADMAN - and am wondering if you could tell me if the body is perfectly level on your kit (as it sits atop the chassis), or has the slight reverse rake typical of '55 gassers?
I suspect TD split the difference and made it level as all Rods back in his day had the typical rake with the rear elevated...
I have the unbuilt original kit and therefore can't tell - and it's tough to tell by the angles of pics displayed in google searches.
Yours looks level - but I'd really appreciate if you'd confirm.
Thanks! Sid
