I know its been a while since I’ve been here. I am working on this tanker truck. The tank is made from an old cylinder lawn sprinkler. I used the front of the Garbage truck for the cab with some modifications. I opened the hood and added an engine and engine compartment. I also narrowed a GTO front grill and added it. For the back I used highly modified rear fenders from a 1958 TBird. I made fuel tanks from copper pipe. I still have a long way to go as most pieces are scratch built. Thanks for looking and I hope you like it. Dave

Welcome back, Dave! Wild concept, looks good so far! By the way, in my opinion, that clearly belongs in the Show Rods in Progress section...

I used part of this old sprinkler I had used in my garden. The body looked so much like a tanker I couldn't resist, and I have enough left over for another one! For the round back of the tanker I used the helmet from the Hard Hat Hauler. I also may cut out some more of the fender openings to see more of the wheels. I may end up closing the hood and making the entire cab hinge forward. Now to come up with a name. I was leaning towards a beer tanker truck.
