Beatnik Bandit II. This is the first out of the box of Roth cars I finally found after my move. Chassis is basically out of the box except plug wires added. I am a little un sure if the decals will be any good, if not I think I'm going to update the paint color and scheme to maybe a few different Camelion colors in a panel paint design. Paul

Looks great so far! Have you got a plan of what body mods you’ll be doing?
Can’t wait to see this come together! The rolling chassis looks great too!

Mainly adding a hood and an air intake "scoop" for the engine. A different grill and tail light treatment using expanded metal and hidden lighting. Color I am leaning to is a Candy Metallic Pearl Orange with some type of ghost scalloping. I think it has the potential to be a really nice car with some refinements.

I agree - I think if I was building one I'd simplify the 1:1's paint job (or complex-ify it) - like you say it's definitely got potential 👍🏻

Always liked the chassis in this kit , lot's of potential there for swaps . I like your ideas for the body mods , should really improve the look !

Always liked the chassis in this kit , lot's of potential there for swaps . Ohh, true! That's a good idea!
Pity the wheelbase isn't a little longer, but it'd be a cool basis for something else, definitely!
You got my brain whirring here!
