Dragged out this from deep in the stash. Figured the first thing for me was to get the body fitted and the color matched. The color is a light gold with yellow pearl added to it. Now by the time the interior and chassis is do it will be cured enough to polish out. Building it to the 1967 Riddler truck which is different from the Purple rebuild or the restored version. It's kind of difficult to sort the early photos from 65 / 66. They seem to have mixed in the photos of the restoration in with them. Funny that Chrysler used it in their show circuit with the Deora using a 60 Ford Station Wagon upper tailgate for the windshield, a 62 Fairlane rear widow and roof panel for the balance of the cab, a pair of 65 mustang tail light bezels for side extractors and a Oldsmobile steering wheel and dashboard knobs.

Can't wait to see how on looks with out modifications I saw that it needed to be modified to look like the original but I have too many kits to finish to do that. Looking forward to see yours.

Got the chassis done and some interior work done. mainly added the missing console and moved the gauges back to pods on the console. Added the twin carbs and air cleaners that were missing and last tried to show the reflective tail lights.
The tail lights, according to Nick Taylor, pointed down; the driver saw them reflected in a solid metal panel. The panel that holds the lights has tiny holes for them to shine through, but you can’t see that without looking from underneath.
Did some research and the kit is actually the version from 1968 t0 1970 that Chrysler used for display. The kit interior and quad lights were Chrysler "up dates" Chrysler sold the Deora II to Al Davis in late 1970 who used it for a few years and than put it into storage until 1998, when Al's son (Al Davis jr) asked Bradley, the original designer, to help restore it. Davis had the interior up graded to a modified original style and the front lighting returned back to original. The car’s post-restoration debut was at the 2002 Detroit Autorama and in 2009 sold for $349,000.00
