Started the chassis. So far so good. Using our members book on his clone for some details.

That frame looks great! I always enjoy seeing some of the weird and wonderful suspension designs they used to use on these old showrods - and this is a great one!

I am the book guy. Good start. In fact I am preparing a tutorial on modifying the Revell model to correct most of the kit mistakes. One of the big ones on the frame is the side holes start too far back from the bend in the frame rail Correcting this requires major frame surgery and re-chroming. Mufflers, tail pipes, and all the pans and stuff under the car should all be flat black. Ed didn't chrome any of that contrary to the Revell model.

You changed your name! I grabbed your book when it was first out! Between your book, the book on most all of Roths cars, the auction photos and the original magazine article from the day there are alot of liberties Revell took but on this one I'm just shooting for a clean build. The next one I'll do a brass chassis from the drawings I've made and some of the other issues I've noted.
