Nice job on this build. I probably would not have noticed the finger print on the decal if you had not pointed it out.

Seems like 100 years ago, but, way back in the Modelcarlist days, Pat Covert & I were in the midst of a teasing episode (about model cars we've built). At one point, I remember he got me real good, and I (who was on fire myself), replied back that those fingerprints in my paint jobs weren't mistakes, but they were 'signatures'! He responded that they were insurance that my models would come home with me from a contest, and not mysteriously disappear from the table.
A. This is a great build to a very touchy model to build B. Thanks for resurfacing that memory from way back when.

The signature is a great response!!
It is delicate but I think my current build of Bob Johnsons T bucket is even worse. Paul

Again, I know this kit very well, but I was always afraid of it, very delicate and fragile, so, I have to give you a huge compliment to this build, Paul, it looks awesome!

Not to sound dated, but "ditto" on compliments here! All of the Revell Ed Big Daddy Roth's kits are rather difficult builds! Not too mention the fact that the molds for the re-pops are well worn because the kits were sizable hits back in the day. As a matter of fact, one of the model club's in my area recently had a show featuring a contest for Roth builds and not that many showed up. I picked up a Mysterion and a Beatnik Bandit but haven't gotten up the nerve to build them yet.

Nice build. Kind of a nit-pick but if you want to be 100% accurate, need to paint the ends of the front axle white. That's what Ed did.

Looks great! I hear the Roth Models are tough builds. I have a Mysterian that I started 5 years ago or so. Still not done...but then I only build sporadically. Only have some of the paint done.
