My brother in law had one just like this only white back in '63.
I don't remember many details about it engine wise (I was 11).
This is one beautiful build, Bob.

The Ford starter solenoid... oh my. That seemed like a no brainer when installing the battery cables and it was much easier to make than you'd think . |

Good call on the Starliner Bob. You have to put a teardrop scoop on the hood though.
