My brother in law had one just like this only white back in '63. I don't remember many details about it engine wise (I was 11). This is one beautiful build, Bob.

The Ford starter solenoid... oh my. That seemed like a no brainer when installing the battery cables and it was much easier to make than you'd think .

My brother-in-law had a black one around '65-'66 , maybe one reason I like this body style so much . It took me a little time to get over the fact that the front axle didn't actually run through the oil pan in real life

Good call on the Starliner Bob. You have to put a teardrop scoop on the hood though.
