The usual clean, expert work! How do you plan to glue your PVC pieces? Thank you, Steve! I will not glue the PVC parts together, these will be held in place by tightening the nuts against each other on the shaft.

The chain sprocket has also to be drilled out so that it fits on the shaft... ... the back is completely undetailed and looks somehow unfinished... ... so i drilled a few more holes... This is put aside first, it will be needed later... Now I come to the fork of this kit... An unusual construction in that the fork tubes with the thickenings become thinner towards the top and merge into the handlebars as a single piece. That is why it was probably made hollow on the other side in order to avoid the fluctuations and blowholes here too... Here you can clearly see, how the ridges protrude from the mold lines... ... and here, most of the fork is deburred, apart from the handlebars, i also cut off these knobs from the fork bridge plates, these should be the fork attachment to the frame, but I don't like that and will do later something different...

The fork length in this kit is ok, but I love very long forks on a chopper. So i was looking for a suitable tube diameter to extend the existing fork and found these made of aluminum, i could buff this to a shine and it would be great... ... so i cut through the fork bars roughly in the middle to then insert the plastic ends into the aluminum tubes and get a longer fork... ... but the aluminum tubes are a bit thick-walled, so the end of the lower fork leg had to be reduced in diameter... ... the unfortunate thing for me is that these parts are hollow and when I was filing them, it broke off...

So again differently than planned: The lower fork legs are broken, in order to still use them, I first planned both... ... and then made a hole with a subsequent thread... ... these are M3 threaded pins, i glue these to the halfway into the threaded holes... Again I turned these parts out of PVC... ... these are screwed and fixed onto the half-protruding threaded pins... I have now carefully filed the same diameter on the upper side of the bars... These are now new thin-walled tubes made of inox, and a little longer than those made of aluminum... ... first i try this on the handlebar side... ... and so the whole thing looks like a compilation, not yet fixed and not polished...

As already mentioned, the fork mount in the frame is provided with two knobs before gluing the frame parts together, otherwise you won't get them in anymore... But I would like to color the frame without any transitions and gaps on the fork's mounting tube. I make a different solution for this: First I removed these knobs, then I drill the fork bridges with a drill that is slightly larger than the fastening screw... ... otherwise I have too much clearance and the whole thing wobbles back and forth ... The same with the steering head tube... these are roughly the parts... ... for the new bracket of the fork...

While I'm in the process of changing this fork, I'll do the same with the rest... The original attachment of the front wheel is also intended with the knobs, probably glued... But since I prefer that this remains rotatable, this will be impossible with the new fork length, the front wheel would always fall out... So I remove these knobs again and drill out the ends with a 3.1 mm drill... the same with the rim... ... and the drum brake cover... These are the parts required for the new wheel mount... And so the whole thing looks roughly...

This is looking amazing Bobby - I really enjoy seeing the well thought out engineering you always display on your builds. Good thinking using 1/10th RC parts on this build! There's some nice R/C stuff out there that is usually in the wrong scale for what we do - but those wheels are looking great on there!
