Renwal Revival - 66 Stutz

As designed by Exner, Renwal released a series of re-imagined classics.
This is one of my favorites.
The 66 Stutz:




May be a bit sacrilegious to build this kit, but such a shame to leave it unseen.
I left it in it's original plastic (it was released in black and red), just polished out.
Kept any painting to a minimum, some interior touches and the motor.






These kits were designed to be converted to slot cars, so the chassis is fairly smooth - so, no pics.

Fantastic build! They were meant to be built. I was at a show 2 years ago and picked up a sealed AMT HERO 65 Imperial and a sealed AMT 69 Impala SS Convertible kits. Sealed (and pricey) Watched the vender picking them up like they were eggs. Should have seen his face when I opened them up and said I was building them both.

The recessed cooler and the lights are not to my taste, apart from the front, I've always liked this design very much...

Great build, the plastic polished up nicely.

I've got a couple of these, a part built Packard and an old but quite nice built up Mercer.

From what I've seen, there are seven in the set.



I also have the Mercer, but mine is molded in red. Someday I may build that one, but right now I already have too many red vehicles either recently done or in the someday soon pile.

Well y'all have shown me kits I've never seen, nice work. I have never built a Renewal kit of any kind.
