I have built a few of these over the last 5 years or so.  One of my previous builds, shows modified sides, cutaway with portholes, full height body and windscreen and new wheels and tyres.  But with the latest one, using the sports windscreen, short surf board, roof rack and hearse short roof all supplied in the kit. I cut down/lowered the sides and added home printed 'woody' decals..     The display comes with the kit. |

All cool....like the orange one. I built 2 or 3 as a kid....need to build another.

Thanks davevan1. The kit plastic colour was orange. We don't see many of this type of kit in the UK. Only boring standard factory built car stuff! We never saw any of these when they first came out. AMT/Lindberg etc. as they were seen as too radical (not fun) and unlikely to sell! We are just too careful!

Thanks Bert, all I seem to want to do is modify/change/customise everything! I don't now whether that's good or what? I sometimes seem to see things in a totally different way.

Thanks snakeplissken81. Yes the Orange is how the kit came in the box! I washed the parts, gave it a polish and then, to get a wet look, used a largish model brush and some Humbrol clear gloss from a small tin.
