I appreciates this build. My dad was case slinger back around 1970, and I have fond memories of him in the yellow truck, in his pinstripe uniform (his summer look). Of course, his ride was barely as cool as this one.

Makes me want a 6 or 8oz Coke in a bottle. I like all of the changes. The cooler between the seats is a nice touch. Did you can the chain drive?

Yes, the chain drive and transfer case was all cut out; I used the rear diff from the Garbage truck and a driveshaft from the parts bin. The Kegs were also not used and a gas tank from an old Jeep Commando kit was installed. You can see some shots of the underside in the "in progress" section .

Sweet build I hope you did not have to paint all the coke bottles. Originally I was looking at craft stores for doll house coke cases, but luckily I found a beat up Franklin Mint truck that had pre painted parts which supplied the cases . Each row has a full set of cases in it ; when I finished it I found I didn't have to do that since you can only see the outside ones !
