Atlantis Unreal Roller finished...

OK, some finished pics of my Unreal Roller, fastest build since I was 10! Couldn't tolerate the green plastic (too swirly, poor color) and didn't have a good green so I went industrial yellow (Tamiya Camel Yellow TS-34) and am pretty happy with the results. Gold chassis plate, motor and other parts, seems to look OK with the chrome stuff. One of the most fragile and difficult to handle models ever! Molotow pens got a workout! Anyways, a fun build, my first show rod in many years. Thanks for looking - Brian

Looks pretty good to me , great job ! The Camel Yellow looks really good , whoever decided to mold it in that crappy green should be shot .

Quick tip on your photos . . . use anything white even a towel or sheet for the background and don't get so close with your phone , they will focus better .

Thanks, guys, it was a fun build! The decals worked out well, laid down flat, seemed happier with Micro-Sol & -Set over Solvaset. They did try to curl under around the edges, seemed to be the gold edging that caused that, not sure. Just kept them wet and swept the curls out from under with a clean paint brush. The next Atlantis decals I do will get a couple more drops of dish detergent in the water. The only real gripe is the large side panel decals don't really fit the recess they go into perfectly, but they look OK.
