The Lincoln Low-Rider - I still need to come up with a name for this. I bought a couple ’48 Lincoln glue-bombs at NNL East a few years ago and decided to build something out of them. They are really old models and glued with old style glue, so they were pretty well glued and melted in spots. I took the whole body apart. There was about 10 pieces and I smoothed them and re-assembled. I’m making this a low rider Lincoln. I first was going to use an old Ford 426 engine but I decided to use the straight eight from the Rommels Rod. If I can get it to fit well I will use it, if not maybe I’ll go back to the Ford engine. Not a whole lot of progress although I have already put in about 6 hours in re-working the body and gathering parts. Thanks for looking and I hope you like it. All constructive criticism welcome. Dave

Holy cow, now that's what I call a save ! To be honest, I wasn't sure what you could do with the messed up mess you started with, but it turned out to be a real beauty
