A Revell BMW I-8 Electric, on my shelf for about 12 or more months. Realised that I hadn't started because to was moulded in dreadful black like a funeral car, so had to paint it. I think it must be some sort of camo!

No Paul, all I need is a 10 foot high aerial with a flag on top! Thanks Steve, yes I think I know what I'm doing, if not it will disappear.

A bit more done and quite a bit to do, the rear window opens ok.. Slide the wheels out and pop off the tyres, clean up and re-paint the wheels, doors in, glass in etc. I don't want to pose the doors open as I don't have the space in the display cabinet.

I was SURE Andy Warhol was dead! Kinda reminds me of the BMW "Art Cars"! Well as I say I don't like black cars as the colour is normally a cop out as the manufacturer builds the car but can't think of a 'good' colour to put on it. But as you say over the years I've seen a number of 'Art Cars' so decided to go that way!

Here it is finished. Although I needed to brighten it up from drab black I don't know whether I've done that. There is a unit over the back wheels I presume is the electric motor but everything else covers it up. I've not posed it with the doors open as I haven't the space in the display cabinet. Would this be a BMW ART Car?

Thanks stevielewis. I went onto google search early this morning and was surprised how many top line artists had offered designs that were accepted by BMW to put onto their saloon race cars and Z1-s.

I've one kit on the table at present but think that will possibly be my last, after 60+ years. My main reason is the cost of stuff, as we have not got what you may have, is a local LHS. I looked at stocking up on spray cans, they are about £6 each and the postage/shipping is a few pence cheaper than the can and as a pensioner I can't afford that.
I've just had a thought, I shall build all the kits I have until the cement runs out, in bare plastic, no paint at all, superb idea!
I've bought paper/watercolours/acrylics/brushes and a canvas pack so may start that soon. Update the watercolour packs are in the post from ebay post free!
