Well, here it is, the next in my ongoing project.  Interior became unlevel during final assembly, didn't notice it until glue was hardened, so....  It only shows from ground level straight on, good enough I guess.  Box stock except for scratch fuel filler, resin right front wide-5 wheel and a couple resin tires.  Tamiya paint.  Was going to put on an upper radiator hose but the fan is too big!  This one is done as an asphalt car, hence the slicks and windshield.

Nice build ! These kits were the closest thing to the race cars at our local track , I built two back in the early 70s but couldn't afford any more of them. I built all the reissues and was lucky enough to find a GTO rebuilder ,as that was the only one that didn't get a reissue.

Same here, there was a support class at our local tracks that looked real close to these kits, I had them all growing up, some more than once, most died a fast or slow death due to firecrackers or gasoline fires! Collected all of the originals again as an adult, and am slowly building all nine. I was lucky enough to pick up a GTO about 25 years ago, MIB, for probably $50. I also have a built-up glue bomb that I am working on now. The only survivor of my teenage builds is an Olds with an Ulrich Mini-Man driver!
