Just haven't been building showrods. I seem to be caught up in early Revell kits I have been avoiding kit decals, mostly because the kits I have are old and the decals were left unprotected in the boxes. In January I built this Simple Simon Thames (now Helter skelter thanks to Slixx) click these thumbnail pics for a larger image
Strip Teaser (Slixx again) February [Austin Gasserr]
and of course in March..... I couldn't find the kit headers ("appears complete!" from the ebay seller)
I hope Bob Paeth is smiling
I'm just finishing up an AMT Pirahna (again, not showrod worthy)
I did just today take pictures of my Guest Gallery entry, but of course, I missed this month but here's hoping nothing breaks before May.

Well Paul, great builds. The Austin Gasser as The Austin Devon four door was my first car when I was 18, that's a few years ago now!

I just finished up these 2 last night.
First the AMT Pirahna (again not qualifying for the Gallery, but I like it anywho) The kit I had, had plain clear upper body parts but I bought a couple of parts left overs on ebay and one of them had these urine colored parts which pushed me to get this finished.
And Vicky's are my all time favorite of the oldies. This is 1/2 kit Victoria and 1/2 Ala Kart chassis with updated wheels & tires I built this up in 2020 to be used under my 'Mod Rod' build but ended up just setting it aside for future use.
to be honest, these are unfinished builds that I finished up mostly to clear some space on the table

"Urine" the groove, for sure! That's a very unique Pirhana.

I relay like that Pirahna with the yellow, gives it that finished look and see through. The clear one not so much, more a museum peace, but your looks like it ready to race.

Great looking Gassers Paul ! The Pirahna is one I've always wanted to build and yours with the tinted upper body is pretty cool . And the Vickie is my favorite body style too . I love the Cragars with whitewalls , great looking Mod Rod !
