I did raise this exact question many years ago but the answer from the top was "No" because:
i) they're not "Rods" (although you could say the same about quite a few of the 275),
ii) including them would also mean including similar creations from Pyro (The Gladiator) and Revell (all their bike engined and Corvair powered trikes), and
iii) Dave wasn't keen.
Who knows what might have changed in the interim though?

Who knows what might have changed in the interim though? Probably not much has changed , #2 above makes sense because including them would open the door for all kinds of "Trikes" . That wouldn't be good . Just because they're not on the list doesn't mean you shouldn't post them here , that's why the Non Show Rod section was created . Heck I post most of my models there !  |

I think this topic comes up from time to time and we learn that the list is pretty much closed.
BUT with that said, I have a few nominees.
All of the Renwal, Virgil Xner design studies from 1961. - Pierce Arrow, Playboy, Bugatti, Etc. - These kits, while very simplistic have a rich history and are great styling concepts.
The two latest Chip Foose kits - The Caddy, and the F-100.
