It's looking a bit slow here on the xmas afterday, so, here's another of my Aurora Indy wheeled kits. The 29 Ford Woodie:
Also known as the "Woodin Wagon", and the notorious "Boob Tube".
You can see how some of the changes carried over, specifically that mixing board/station.
On this one, the blue is the kit's plastic, polished out, and dry brushing for the wood grain. I added the custom decal surfboard and tied it down in "gotta get to the beach in a hurry" style with embroidery thread.
One of my favs, 'cause it's a great kit, and, well... it's a woodie.

Now you've gone and done it . . . I sold a Woodin' Wagon about 10 years ago , it was complete unbuilt in a mint box and now I'm really cryin' that I did it . Been trying to replace it ever since with no luck since I can't bring myself to pay $200 for one . That's one nice little beauty and the blue is the perfect color !
