MPC Monkeemobile - 2022 Reissue

This is the latest reissue from Round2 with some really nice blue-line Goodyear tires , I sure hope they show up in other kits or as a Parts Pack .
If you've built any of the previous issues you know it's a very basic kit , typical of these types from the 60's . The only real issue I found was that out of the box the tires aren't centered in the body openings , so I spent the time to correct this by relocating the axles . At the same time I widened the front track 3/16" and narrowed the rear track the same 3/16" so the tires fill the openings correctly , or at least better than they did .
So here's my Monkeemobile , built out of the box except for aftermarket decals and some polished aluminum tailpipes . I also added my own 6.5 Litre and Dean Jeffries badges , they're a bit larger than I planned but I still think they look okay . Paint is Tamiya TS-8 Italian Red and Krylon Ivory .
My first time building a Monkeemobile and I'm glad I finally did . . . fun , quick , and it looks great on the shelf !
