Great to see this kit re-issued after almost 60 years. So many rumours and stories about it over the decades.
I notice in the built up photo that the shift column is missing...

As for the shifter it must be an oversight , the pics of the mold they posted clearly shows the shifter .  |

As I recall, the rumours had to do with what did and did not exist from this kit. As some point the figure was rumoured not to exist; then the figure existed but not the car. It's oscillated over the decades but happily they both exist and will hopefully be re-issued sooner than later. PS I recognize your "MO" from the Comic Book Collecting Message Board.  |

Just saw a video taken at this year's NNL. The Atlantis rep was asked when it was coming out and he replied "Probably in the next month or two." Hopefully he was speaking literally and not figuratively.
