Volkswagen Beetle Funnycar

I thought I had started a thread on this build a while ago but I can't find anything, so I am going to post a few photos of where I am currently at with it. It's an old resin kit that is basically the body, interior sheet metal, rear slicks, front tires, and a tall three hole blower hat. I supplied the chassis, engine, and a pair of Pegasus Top Fuel slicks. I did change the blower hat to a shorter 3D printed one. Since this is a continuing build there is some painting touch ups I need to do on the body yet. Sorry for the dust on the car, I didn't think to dust it off before taking the pictures. I hope you like it and any comments good or bad are accepted. Thank you for looking.

Looking good so far  l still have one of those bodies 
I was going to make an alcohol car from mine
For me that rear wing is out of proportion 
Just a thought maybe go for 90s nitro cars
I think it would give it a slicker look

I was leaning towards a 90's Nitro car with the paint job I have on it. What would you suggest I do to go that route?

That's a neat little monster! First pic, I thought "That should be painted gray and called Dumbo"!

The idea l had for mine 
I was to either have smaller side wings or go for a smaller top fuel wing 
Or maybe a large tuner wing if l did go for the wing l would of have changed 
The rear of the body to a stock

I would defiantly like to see photos if you get back on your build of this car. Your ideas sound great and I would like to see what you come up with. I will look for the VW F/C online as well. Thanks for your tips!
