Groovy Cruiser

I didn't think I had room on the shelf for a full on Grader, so...
Here's the Groovy Cruiser aka Groovy DeGrader aka the Blade Shunner.





A combo of a Groovy Grader upper and wheels, fitted onto a Depth Charger base.
Painted School Bus yellow and Flat Soft Iron.





I had tested swapping out the wheels for something similar to the Cherry Bomb set, but decided to keep the Groovy look, especially for the complimenting color rims.
I will say, tho, that the tires in the kit are a bit of a soft, sticky rubber, so they got some coats of black acrylic to seal them.

Fun! And I like your alternate names, lol. And I’ll bet those wheelie bars would come in a little too handy - like it’d be REALLY hard to NOT fall back on them no matter how gentle you were on the clutch.

I got a couple of the Atlantis reissues, but I don’t really like the tires in them.

I agree about the wheelie bars being necessary.
Let's just pretend that the tank looking piece is really just made of solid lead to counter balance.
It may help a little.

I struggled with finding the right headlights for the build.
I finally decided that, while 2 headlights from the Depth Charger was too much, one, modified and mounted on the front rod, was the way to go.
