The changes you made are subtle, but you kept the "flavor" of the build. It looks better than the original IMO. Nice work!

Nothing looks out of place, so I would call that a successful build! For a glue bomb it looks great from any angle. Great job!

I'd say that was well worth all the effort and hard work you put in! I do still wonder what George was thinking when he designed it but that's got to be best scale rendition I've seen!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Quite a few mods to be sure, even a swap out for the engine top end, but I think it still carries the Bathtub Buggy flavor.

To say that you created a jewel out of a so-so kit is an understatement . . . excellent Bathtub Buggy ! I confess I had one of these kits that sat for many many years because I just couldn't see any use in building it . . . boy was I wrong !!!

Many thanks for the kudos TooOld. I agree, a mediocre kit at best, but I built each section as a separate model (tub/engine/boudoir etc.) and detailed each to what my skill level would allow. Not box stock, but I had fun, met challenges, tried a couple of new techniques...and definitely wasn't bored! And, it looks ok on the shelf! lol

Amazing job on this rebuild ! If only the kid that made the gluebomb originally could see how it turned out !!

Dave, posting the build was all my pleasure. I'm just glad it turned out. Thanks for the kind words!
Well Don, he'll never see it, but the rest of the model club will at next meet. I appreciate the shout out.
You guys and everyone here have been great. This build is my last posting for quite a while. Revell's venerable 1/96 USS Constitution is next. I got lucky and found one a few weeks ago. This will be my 3rd one over roughly 45 years. I expect a year or two in the building and I'm hoping it deserves a case in my home after it's done. Thanx again everybody. What a great site!
