The Sketchy Schooner

Hello everyone,
 I just finished what the locals up here call a MOB build, MOB= to be used or driven. It's like a Rat Plastic Thrash, using old parts kit pieces but most thrash builds are finished in 1 day, this took substantially longer, however these parts were never intended to be assembled together, purely random. 


The hull came from the 1963 Hawk kit "Davey" but I scratchbuilt the rudder & propellor.


The blower & hat configuration are from a Muscle Machines GTO. 


The rest of the parts are mostly unidentified, however I do know the dash is from AMT's 1955 Chevy pick-up.


For the base, I simply used part of an unidentified camper shell but I like it much better than the trailer I was going to make for this.

I never gave any thought to getting sucked up into the blower as it's amazing that I was even able to build this from the random ideas & parts I had.
Still, I guess a short trip in the spin cycle couldn't hurt too much!!!

As bad as this nonsense is, I do have some new ideas for another Klown Canoe but much like creating models, creating ideas can be a process.
