At a recent Midnight Modelers meeting in Virginia for an auction to raise club funds I lucked into a Monogram Mattel 1966-67 issue of Steve Scott's Uncertain T.It was disassembled but in usable shape ( not a glue bomb ) and even had a few extra parts in the box. Only one problem...only one front tire ! I contacted one of our most favored resin casters but unfortunately it doesnt sound like he can get to resin casting any tires in the near future...so I'm either going to have to wait...or substitute front tires from other kits. It looks like the original 1/1 car had Harley Davidson front wheels...but using the front tires from either Revell's Road Agent or Mysterion wont work with this kit's spoke wheels as they are too skinny...and a tad smaller in diameter. I'm wondering if any of you show car guys know if Monogram might've used the wheel molds for the Uncertain T when they issued other kits...maybe a Tom Daniels car? Or maybe you have an actual Uncertain T front tire in your parts box you have no use for...and would entertain a deal of some kind? Steve in Virginia

Great find considering the recent news about the Uncertain T surfacing. I hope someone can help!

If you can find a T'rantula or T bucket they have the same wire wheels and tires If I had spares I would be more than happy to send them to you
