Now you're talking! Just started watching the 2 seasons again on Roku. Formula:
1. Lots of sand.
2. many explosions.
3. Germans die cleanly from the 50-cal. machine guns.
4. Sometimes, our heroes get captured.
5. This character always getting bettered by our protagonist: Hauptmann Hans Dietrich is a primary character featured in The Rat Patrol; an officer in the German military, he served as the primary nemesis to Sergeant Sam Troy and the Rat Patrol. He was portrayed by Hans Gudegast.
6. Endings are always in some kind of Turkish bar outpost, drinking and reflecting on the day's work.

Watched them growing up and just had to have them! I scratch built these figures to look like the original team and modified the jeeps with radios, etc... I also have a diorama of Hauptmann Hans Dietrich and his group in Kubelwagon's and a small tank. |
