Scott, I know you've had a desire to be involved with a scale model magazine for quite some time. Opportunities for such are extremely limited so it's good to see you grab for the brass ring. With your background in printing & publishing and love of scale model cars, I believe you're a valuable asset to this. I hope it will be fulfilling and meet your expectations. I'm not sure what Nani's role in this has or will be but I do know it takes hours of effort to produce something like this with no guarantees of success. So at very least, I'm sure she's supportive to your efforts, I wish you both the best of luck & a Happy Mother's Day to Nani! I'll be watching, from a distance but watching...! Hizoot PS-Does that purple sedan delivery look familiar to you?

Hey Jeff,
Thank you for the well wishes. Nani said Hi and thank you.
I did really like writing for Model Cars, but I got the itch to build my own magazine. Nani is the engine that keeps all the stuff running and she keeps us legal. Check us out at automodelermag.com. I get the content, she makes it go. Right now, it is a crazy amount of work. Summer vacation can not come soon enough.
The purple car- yep one of my oldest builds if you count the original version and the two rebuilds. It was also the first model I had in the gallery here at the showrods site.
Keep watching. Some cool things are coming.
Maybe you can shoot that unique contest for us. We pat 50.00 a published page for pictures and captions.
Flounder.

Scott, While I don't object to supporting your efforts, photographing the "unique contest" as you put it, may not be a good idea as they're much more military oriented as I said. Check it out if you want rockymtnhobbyexpo.com/ However, there's a few competitive and non-competitive events that take place in the intermountain west that are open to auto modelers that could deserve photographing such as the IPMS contest and Wasatch Wheels or Scale Model Car Exabition. I have most of my photo equipment but I'd need a model info sheet like MCM used to use to identify the models & modelers to write captions from. Do you have one yet? If not, maybe Nani can make one up. Let me know, we should probably take this off-line to a PM. Hizoot,

Cool, Jeff. Glad to have you on board. I am not posting the build sheets on the website. I want to know who is repping for us.
Send me an email and I can send you the PDF for the sheets.
scottcolmer@automodeler.net
I can send a banner and flyers later. Please let me know what shows you have in mind. I don't want to double up on coverage.
Thanks!
