My rendition of the Atlantis release of the Sidewinder:

I wanted the build to have more of a rattlesnake tone, so it was painted up in pale gold.

Most of the kit's rose chrome was stripped and done up in bronzes and coppers.

The entire unit (cab, body, fenders and chassis) was glued together and seams smoothed before painting.

The only rose chrome I left were the inner wheels and the motometer.

I also created a set of less-cartoony snake scale decals, and modified some online clipart for the side panels.

Added a clear acetate piece to the sunroof.

I like that you redid the kit chrome in bronzes and coppers , that rose color Atlantis did is terrible (my opinion) .

Somehow I never noticed the snake head and tongue in the original Monogram release called the Rattler. Very cool.
