First Lunar Landing - 55 Years Ago

I built this Monogram kit five years ago to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing and would like to share it again today .







You can clearly see in this photo the interior lighting added to the module .

One of the biggest events in human history and I was sleeping through it at age 11. I did not know about this kit, so thanks for sharing the build here.

You did beautiful work on this. I built this kit when it was first issued, it didn't look nearly as nice as yours.

I was 14 at the time and remember watching everything on TV . My Dad was in the Air Force working in the space program and we were stationed at Vandenberg AFB so I guess we were all nerds when it came to this kind of stuff !
