You don't have to sign up to be a member of the Coffin Corner. But as they say, "Membership has its privileges." Here are the benefits of signing up to be a member of this discussion group:
If you wish to continue to as a guest here, it's not a problem. I just wanted to make sure you knew that you never have to see this stuff again if you sign up to be a member and log in when visiting the Coffin Corner:

*A note of caution about buying and selling:
There is always a risk when buying and selling online. And the Coffin Corner is not eBay. There are a lot of scammers out there. Consider these tips when conducting business with someone you don't know:
- It's free!
- It only takes 88 seconds to sign up, one time only.
- Members don't have to view those distracting and annoying banner ads -- I pay a few bucks a month to make them go away for members.
- Members can create new threads and make replies and "like" others' comments (thumbs up!)
- You can send other members private messages through the members feature.
- Members can list items for sale or trade in the BUY - SELL - SWAP forum. (see note of caution below)*

There is always a risk when buying and selling online. And the Coffin Corner is not eBay. There are a lot of scammers out there. Consider these tips when conducting business with someone you don't know:
- If you don’t have a history of dealing with a member, look at when they joined the group. If they joined the day that you were looking for something, be suspicious. Look at the profiles of sellers and buyers. Profiles with established histories and positive feedback are generally more trustworthy.
- Ask for a “proof of life photo”. This is a picture of the item with a post it note with the current date or newspaper front page.
- Use secure payment methods that offer buyer protection, such as PayPal, instead of cash or wire transfers. Do not use PayPal friends and family to get around fees. You don’t have any recourse if it is a scam.
- Compare prices with similar items on other platforms. If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
- Consider reporting any suspicious behavior or posts to me, (Dave the Rallymaster) and help maintain a safe community.
