The seldom seen Firebug!
This is a rebuild of one I picked up off of the Bay.
The body and interior/seats were fused, but I was able to separate some of the other sub assemblies for cleanup.
The motors were solid units, but workable. The sidepipes needed some missing bits fabricated, and I reworked a new front axle to replace the busted up one. So, many of the parts were painted in-place.
The wheels are as they came, with some black acrylic paint on the tires to freshen their look.
Painted up a bright pearl fire red, with plenty of chrome pen. Of course, I felt the need to upstyle the decals a bit.
I have the ladders, but there was no sensible placement in the design, other than to clutter up the look. A rare and wild kit. It shares many of the base pieces of the ZZR, but I'm happier with this version.

Wonderful salvage job and a great addition to the members of this forum to see. And talk about rare? I just did a search of the Guest Gallery and did not find one--now THAT's rare!
