One of the guys over at the Volksrods website posted a batch of pictures fresh from Garlit's museum. Thought some of you crazy nuts over here that build vintage drag stuff might be able to use some for reference. There is a nice shot of the Snake I front engine dragster as well as a nice shot of the Yellow Fang. Anyway, check it out. smg.photobucket.com/albums/v234/bugdust69/Garlits%20Museum/

These are somebody else's pictures. I just found the gallery while browsing the Volksrod web site and wanted to share them since so many guys build scale models of real race cars. So lots of good reference comes from these collections of pictures. I've only seen people post pics from Garlit's museum a few times so I'm always looking. I haven't been myself but I'm hoping next year that I'll make a trip in my Volksrod or one of my cars to FLA to visit some friends and hit the museum on the trip. There are a few guys from the Rally that I'd like to visit as well as some friends from school and some Hot Rodders that I've met through the net as well. So a trip is in order and I need to get out of PA for a little bit.

I've been to Garlit's museum twice and I'd go again if I ever have the chance. The NHRA museum out in Pomona is good too. If you like drag stuff at all, you owe yourself a trip to either, OR BOTH!
