Check this out. This company finally produced their chrome in a can as before it was in Canisters. You had to buy the whole system for about 900.00 . What a kool change. If you buy 5 Alaclads at $7.00 you can afford this can, plus base paint and clear Not a bad price 149.00 alsacorp.com/products/killercans/kc/killerchrome_price.htm Oneyed P.S. check out the Demo

Sounds interesting Don, Iv'e tried the HOK System...not too impressed, I like the Aluminum Metalizer, but nothing can replace real chrome...I wish there was a reliable place that could do the Chroming, Well & Fast !

Hey Don, I would say it's slightly better than Alclad In it's reflective Quality, But I have reservations, with the process involved, it requires a "polished surface", so ; say if you wanted a part Chromed like the Trantula headers, basically, you have to apply a coat of Automotive Urethane Clear over your part , then apply the "Chrome"...( Which has a consistency , thinner than water )... then Clear over that, the resulting thickness is the problem....depending on how many coats of clear, you lay on it, ( and which type of clear is used ) ... it can turn out to be a really thick piece .....and for about $90 (Canadian $) for 4 ounces, that's alot of bread, considering, each little part is using at least 1/2 -1 ounce to cover !....Honestly, I can get a pretty good result, just using a decent fine Aluminum basecoat , or lacquer, over a black base ;watered down & shot in the same way, with super fine coats, it's the way I was doing it before all these fancy "Systems" began popping up.

Hey Charlie yes I have seen that site , but raises a red flag. He's comparing 7.00 of Al clad to 40.00 of Killer chrome??? In realty it's 7.00 X 11 Oz's = 77.00 verse 39.99 = 11 Oz's. killer chrome is way cheaper that Al clad just packaged differently. Same as Spaz Stix 9.00 x 11Oz's = 99.00. Just my observation don v
