Okay, I broke down and got a Photobucket account....man that was easy! Here are a few of the things I am working on, I finally broke out the projects tonight and made a little progress on the Fat Cat. The Fat Cat: AMT Miester Brau tractor, original Outcast Cab, and a Caterpillar bulldozer motor: Also on the burners is the "Fastest car in the Valley" Milner's coupe and the Ivo Showboat. Beat that Falfa! Also...this one just got out of the Lake Castrol...it's on it's like, 7th repaint. One day I will conquer the dagnabbit thing and finish it. Each time I've stripped it, I've added more stuff...I don't think it wanted to live as a slammer. It's an Invader crossed with the front of the Ice T and three T'rantula motors. Wheels are joHan Keystones on Fujimi wire wheel outers. And....when I say I build at the kitchen table, I ain't lying! My trusty nuts and bolts bin is full of supplies and sorted parts, and I stash it in the hall closet. I'll add to this thread as I go, I have a 6x6x6 tandem monster van and a C-cab garbage truck with twin injected hemis...and a twin flathead powered El Mirage tanker truck, and .....

Geez man. If this stuff doesn't get this guys motor-vated nothing will! Pretty wild stuff. I'd expect nothing less from the man with all the big motors......How's that 1:1 gasser project moving along?

The 1:1 Gasser is off. I went and looked over the car and decided to give it back. It was a little worse off than I thought. However.... I have been taking a look at these fun little rails: hambdrags.com/HaGr/index.htmlMy buddy has a six and a three speed...

The Cat motor came from a dozer kit... Alan Alexis had it in his big box o' stash parts and when I saw it, I knew I had to build something around it. It's HUGE! I've had it in a few other mock-up projects, but when the Miester Brau came up for sale on the other CC, I knew I had found my base. Now I'm stretching the frame and adding the C-cab body.

I will add some custom headers and I want to fab up an intake of some sort. I proudly wire and plumb nothing, and I paint with spray cans.... I'm old school. If it's not in the parts box or made of styrene, I don't use it.... I like to finish things and view my builds as "worry free" models or styrene brain farts, not detailing projects. I got real cars for that. hahaha. I'm in the minority. For me the spark is in the overall concept, porportion, and stance. I have seen very well detailed builds that missed the concept or stance and proportion aspect cmpletely. It's a shame really.

Hey Brandon, I see that you are like me! Ihave only wired one engine andd got so fed up on the fourth attempt that i have a v8 with six wires to fiddly and timeconsuming. i don't like spending months detailing what should be fun!
