OK, I put plastic sheeting over the transfer case and made a trailer connection (sorta 5th wheel). I also put plastic sheeting between the I beams of the trailer and fshioned a king pin out of metal tubing. I them puttied seams of cab and hood, then sanded.
The whole truck and trailer were then primed with krylon white primer and for some reason unknown the primer went on crappy. I had just used this same can of primer to prime the cab and chassis of a dodge L700 rebuild and it went on beautifully. However on this project it went on real thin like and would not dry completely (felt tacky)
!!! I let it set for a day and then reprimed with plastic-kote red primer. Unfortunetly I ran out of red and switched to gray hence the two colors 
.... followed by sanding and it still needs another coat of primer. I also painted and wired the motor. 
I also placed a tombstone behind the cad to run the air hose/electric line to trailer.........However I have come up with another idea that I don't want to give away
