Here is a chopped version of the uncertain t clone that Rick Grant and myself have been working on. Thought it would be nice to show something with paint on it.Frame is modified from the Beatnik Bandit.

It's a secret,,lol!!!,,, well,,,not really,,, it's a lite silver base,,krylon glitter spray, and then i use the Dupli - color blue anodizing spray,, transfered into my airbrush bottle by means of a straw taped to the nozzle, this makes for a no mess transfer into my air brush bottles, and by the way i used my old testors aztec airbrush to apply,, i then cleared it with some clear i picked up at Michaels craft store the name escapes me right now, but it came right out of the can, it seems to be the same as the Testors clear goes on thick, 1 coat pretty much buried the glitter,,hope this helps,,i'm learning from Rick G,, he has taught me alot!!!

So let me see if I understand this on the color. There is a Krylon glitter spray? Where can I get that at because it would go real well with the Tamiya color I just picked up today for my A Roadster. Then the blue you sprayed over must be like a transparent?
I used to use an Aztec where I worked and I liked it. It was very easy to use and even easier to clean but I use an Iwatta now.
Thanks for sharing, I gotta find me some of that glitter spray.

Man I wish I had known that earlier today. Michaels that is. The hobby shop I go to is right across from it...LOL! So the glitter is a craft type paint rather than something you'd find in the spray paints at Wally World? If Walmart is a possibility I'm going to head over there tonight to check that out. I may be spraying paint on the body this weekend! Yes! I haven't painted anything in a long time, I'm anxious...LOL! ;D

Hey John, I just gotta say thank god for mom's! My mom anyway, as luck would have it (she does craft stuff and sets up at several shows every year) my mom had about 4 or 5 different makes of the glitter spray. Krylon was one of them. Looks like I'll be spraying some extra parts this weekend to see if I can get this process worked out. Thank you for the heads up though, I wouldn't have known if I hadn't asked. A.J.
