KLOWN KAR AND DRAGON SLAYER 1 UPDATE PICS

OK, I have painted the klown Kar body tamiya light gunmetal grey and mica red. The mini-me Klown driver has been painted with a purple jacket followed by several dry-brushings of lighter purple and white to bring out the highlights. The face was painted white with various bright colors. The tongue was brushed painted a flat burgandy followed by several dry-brushings of red, lighter red, pink, and white and then brushed with tamiya clear for that "wet" look. The eyes were base brushed bright yellow followed by a thin wash of red around the lids, and then I used a sharpy ultra fine marker to make the red circles of the cornea (correct me Tim if I get the eye parts wrong ;D ;D) followed by a light blue center and then black pupils. I then drew eye viens with the marker and white dotted the black pupils. This was all covered with tamiya brush on clear. The hat and hair are just placed for photos and are subject to change.

Thank you Paul Canney for the snap draggin idea for the wheels--looks much better than what I had originally. I still have more to go so stay tuned......






The Dragon slayer has had the green paint laid down. The paint is Tamiya metallic green. This will be cleared with pearl. The cage still needs to be painted.

Man that Dragon Slayer is lookin sharp in that green. I just picked up a spray bomb of some Tamiya Candy Lime Green for my Model A, I hope it looks that good when I put it on the hot rod.

Hi Bert! The motor sitting in the dragon wagon is out of the amt Gravedigger monster truck model. This is the glue kit, not the snap together version. I have been finding these things at Kay-Bee toy outlet stores (there is also a ninja turtle, some tricerotops and other versions--same chassis and motors) for like 5 or 7 bucks!!! Just gotta did through my stash for some headers. Not a bad motor, even has some fuel or breather lines with it!!

Hi Paul!! The second dragon wagon cage is actually the one to my complete original Dragon Wagon rebuild. I just used it to mock up the rear of the car until I got the second cage ready to go. If you noticed in the picture, the cage on the car has a roof hatch, the other one does not. I must admitt though, I do like the idea of the trailer!! Great!, now I need to find another Dragon Wagon!! ;D ;D

Hey Fred!!! I got 13 of them ( monster truck kits ) at walmart here in Canada for ,,are you ready for this!!!!,,,,$ 3.00 each and yes i got them for the motor as well, plus you can always use the fuel cells, battery's , rad ,,etc,,,
