I Think It's Pretty Kool Whitewall, that's not Unlike what would've been roaming the Streets in the day; I Say Leave It... sure, you could sharpen up a couple of the silver lines with taping; but it's Dam*ed Nice overall !!! ;D

Yep, leave it.... As Martin says, even though the pinstriping is not razor sharp, it adds to the hot rod look. I think its a beautiful color combination, really good design on the striping. And what the heck, its handmade, I think it doesnt matter the handwork shows a bit. In this world of resin, etch and aftermarket decals, it sure gets MY respect to see someone doin it by hand, even thogh its not razorsharp... Let it be - its a HOT ROD

I'm glad you showed it to us. I had been thinking about this for some time. I've been trying to come up with a way to lay down the crisp border lines and everything. My application is for a funny car that I'm debating on though and doing the late 60s early 70s panel painting style. Did you just use a fine line brush when you did it and if so did you try to work the lines like you were pin striping?
Thanks for sharing, A.J.

What kind of brush did you use to stripe it? A fine sword or a quill? I use the swords that I trim with a razor blade, but I'm more adept at using my lettering quills at some of this stuff. I haven't tried anything on a model yet, not that good. I think you did a damned fine job on it myself. My buddy Joey Enyart has been practicing, and he is getting pretty good at this stuff.

Very nice! I'm glad to see you finished it up rather than going back and starting over. It has character that I think would have been lost.
Nice finish! A.J.
