......Said the Church Lady (Dana Carvey from Saturday Night Live).......I recently picked up two linberg reissued Satan's crates and was kinda bummed out about the size of this kit.......kinda small, weird scale....Coffin is like 1/25 scale and the devil is much larger? Anyway after getting over my "size" issue ;D ;D ;D, I broke out the paints and started to build one. I am doing one box stock and one will be modified/kitbashed later. After glueing sub-assemblys I sprayed everything flat black. Coffin was then detailed with various shades of dry-brushed browns and highlighted with white. Satan's flesh was then based with a dark cranberry red and lighter shades of red were dry-brushed. Highlighted with a very light pinkish white. I then washed the flesh with the "detailer" red to soften the highlights and give a sheen to his flesh. Fine details of hair, eyes, mouth . teeth, etc still need to be done........The other project in the works is the rebuild vette van that has been sitting on my shelf..........this will be modified of course!! ............Fred

This is a fun little kit Fred! I drew my inspiration from Brandon, utilizing some different tires and rims and adding a few different details. Scury also built a really nice one which I think he let go on eBay! I have a few of these other goofy Lindberg kits I will one day get to!
