I'm gonna do what I can to get this beast as close to Monogram's Green Hornet as I can in 1/8 scale. Not an Olds, but the Pontiac from the Deuce kit, as well as the front suspension.

Dave, there is a guy on eBay selling disks for the wheels and promoting them as Green Hornet style disks. They are spun aluminum and look pretty good.

I could really use two more of the aluminum discs that come in this kit - I'd like to have inners AND outers on the front wheels and outers on the rears, too. If two of them are a little different, I could use them as the inner ones on the front wheels.

Yeah - there are four discs in the new kits - they're stashed down in a level below the tires, with the slicks, all individually bagged.
I may build a top out of hardened tissue over a chopped wire frame, but I really think I'll do it topless, unlike Brandon's avatar.
Rather than a soft top, I thought I might do a half-tonneau cover for the pass. side.

I really want to do another large scale kit sometime soon, but I keep draggin' them out and looking at them, and I can't get motivated to do one. Should be pretty kool!
