[ this is my latest resto project. I traded a few thing from Bernie to get it . the body was broken ,and poorly built by someone, but after a while in the freezer everything came apart. now all I need is more time to finish it !

Although it's pretty much the same casting as the LiL Herbie, I believe LiL Herbie has a ragtop molded into it. After some emails with Don on that kit, I'd say it's a normal issue with primer on it. He had some troubles getting the body back into shape. I'll let him tell the story if he likes but it's every one of our nightmares when trying to repair a body. In fact, I had some of the same issues with a Bug Bomb kit body myself. When I got it, it was in about 4 pieces. I managed to get it frankensteined back together but it was very aggrivating. A.J. Hard to find..... the bug bomb version has that hood mounted tach. pod, which the lil herbie didn't have. and as you mentioned aj, the rag top roof. rob

I just checked something else as well. There is a Funster version which is pretty scarce (or rare if that's what you prefer) that I had to take a look at. It follows the Herbie version in that it is minus the hood tach but also has the rag top roof. The kit goes back to the original style tires but also adds bumpers with over riders. Kind of an interesting variation now that I look at it. I never really looked at it that close before to notice the differences between the 3 kits.
