First time poster... long time reader... sorta', you may know me by this...  Anyhew, Been sitting on the Lil' Gasser for awhile and pilleging parts so before it totally dissapears I came up with the Lil' Rod Wrecker. We'll see...  |

Glad to see you could make it in! The Tiki Rod is outstanding and well executed! It's been the talk here more than a couple times. And the LiL Wrecker is coming along really nicely! Keep up the good work and don't be a lurker...err, I mean a stranger...LOL! ;D

I really love your tiki rod, its outstanding. So is your tow truck, and believe it or not, I have a similar thing going on. I just shot the paint, and about to start scratchbuilding an european vintage style boom....
I´m gonna call mine Lil´Hooker.....

wrecker parts are from an old gluebomb Peterbuilt Wrecker kit. I chopped the boom nearly in half to get the right length, most likely chrome the whole assembly.
Thanks for the kudos, I'm finding myself with 2 or 3 concept show cars yearning to be done. I'll be hanging around here more...

Thanks for sharing the pics. This board is my sanctuary from the race and sports car crowd. Glad you're here helping to represent the Minnesota contingent. Is that wrecker gonna be done by June? Hmmm?

If this keeps up, our Minnesota contingent will be overrunning this joint!  Until that time, this should be a good weekend just to stay inside and work on kits, what with this Super Monster Snowstorm coming our way (or so say the super-excited weatherpeople, since so far this has been a pretty boring winter in the Twin Cities area). |
