Steve , YOU ARE CORRECT, BUT NOT the little red deora BUT another VERSION I COME UP WITH to match the driver which this contest requires it have a driver so I went OLD SCHOOL, so STAY TUNED!!!!!! Chief

No way! The only way I knew that is I have a plan to build a "Little Red Deora" wheel stander, and I noticed where the movable steering wheel is located in the interior for the Deora. I got the kit interior out and looked at the pics and they matched. Lol!!! ;D

Yeah I got another on the bench to make into the LITTLE RED DEORA like it was sketched in the back of Auto Scale, I guess you spotted it too,LOL.Like I stated this is gonna be a different version with a driver since it is REQUIRED for this contest(The Birmingham Classic) the other will have no driver,Thanks,.......................Chief

Yup! Saw the article in the back of SAE. I was able to purchase a Little Red Wagon kit that was minus the body but had all the rest, so I bought a Deora kit at my LHS. I hope to get started on it in a couple months. Sooooo many projects and soooo little time to work on them. Lol!

I just used the stock chassis and reworked the back end to fit Top Fuel tires and made the tubbed back end,I used the engine and rearend from the top fuel as well,pictures to COME REALLY SOON!!!!!!!!!! ;D

Very Kool Chief.. Makes me want to dig out my stalled Deora project. You know the Deora would be a Great subject for us all to build one as a contest or a club build...

The mockup looks darn kool Chief! And the color you plan on painting it is going to make it look killer!!! Thanks for the suggestions on what you did with the Deora and chassis. I have several Funny Car and Top Fuel kits to scrounge parts from too. Great minds think alike. ;D I forgot to ask you if you were going to radius the rear wheel openings or leave as is?

I just completely removed the wheel area aftert I got my plastic sheet fit over the tires in mock up to make the tubbed sheet metal area.Thansk for the compliments guys!!!!!!! Chief
