... into the sunset, horizon, to the Bahamas, who knows? The lights at my worktable really make the whites look brighter than they really are ... the thinned black wash detailing on Jack is barely visible in this picture! The hook hand was made by using a section of a Testors glue tip, and the hook is just wire filament. The right arm was originally molded so the skeleton looks like its posing for a picture (!). I just cut the arm away, filed down the hand that was molded on the back of the skull, and reglued the arm into place. The clothes are done in toilet paper and paper towel, thinned with water, ripped, white glue coating, then some paints, Tamiya acrylics thinned out and some black wash (as well as some dry brushing) on top of that. The eyepatch is just putty that was patted down ... the patch cord is simply a line drawn by an Extra Fine Sharpie. The car now has a windshield as well, easy enough to make ... I etched out a pattern on a clear plastic sheet (I had a similar windshield frame from the Beverly Hillbillies kit that wasn't used, so that was the pattern) and then cut it out slightly larger than the markings, then used white glue to put it into place. (oh, and I repainted the bulb horn so its not that bright yellow -- only my wife really seemed to like that bright yellow, and she told me "oh, you had to listen to them and not me!" ... of course in humor!) Rigging and finding a more acceptable pirate flag (not that glossy paper one!) is left ... then I'll see if this one gets accepted into the Guest Gallery!

Hey that's a GREAT idea for the stupid hand posing on the head. Add a Hook.... Very Cool... I'll give it a try when I finally build mine. I'll also use Tim's idea of a stack of Canon balls.. (BB's.) BiLL..
