'98 Firebird Funny Car...Updated...

Here's some mockup pics of my latest project, a Revell '98 Funny Car. The body is from the Toliver "Mad Magazine" sponsered funny car kit that I stripped the paint and decals from. As you can see some of the Purple paint still won't come off even after repeated coats of EZOff over cleaner. I know the Blower and hat are not correct for this model, I have them yet to build. The chassis is from several different funny car junkyards I bought on the Bay and made into one chassis. It's a work in progress...

Since you brought it up, Fred....the part about wearing makeup, wigs, etc.......have you ever thought that what you do (dressing as a Klown) could be thought of as "drag"? ;D ;D ;D......Just joking my friend!!! Thanks for the comments.

Yes, but when I do it, it is scary )!!!...................But you guys with your beatiful drag cars have even got me pysched to build one. Nothing wild and as creative as what you guys are doing but I did just get a 1/16 scale revell funny car to build. Roland Leongs Charger. Now that I can enjoy 70 degree weather here in New York I can get some nice paint jobs done without battling the snow!!!!...........................Fred

You guys must have seen that old "Saturday Night Live" skit about Eric Idle & John Belushi going to compete in a drag race -- then we see the two dressed up as women running down the strip!
