Wow, that's looking pretty wild! I'm definitely enjoying seeing this progress. Since it is 1/8th scale, what are you going to do for tires and wheels? I didn't ever see anything like that in 1/8th scale for a pro mod.
A.J.
PS: I just noticed something about the hood scoop. I don't know if you already had it in mind or not but it would look cool in the front if the scoop blended to the pointed nose of the hood rather than being a flat spot going across with the slight bit of point in front. I'd assume that you were going to take care of that with filler but wanted to point it out in the instance you weren't. Looks cool either way!

I'm betting you could find a 1/10 R/C buggy/truck tire about the right size for the rear slicks... turn them inside-out to look like slicks rather than off-road tires.
So, you going to add extended, wedge-shaped "sills" to the rockers?

I've got several 1/16 projects in the works - might be able to help you source some stuff. Perhaps we should move this to a new thread, though.

Well got the paint on today guys.I went a little cheaper because the other company i was going to get it from tried to rook me on the price. After telling me $330.00 for what i needed it suddenly took a jump to $420.00.I guess you know what i told them.I went with Centari Acrylic Enamel.Still pricey at $184.73 for the materials but worth every penny.I went with Dark Sapphire Blue Metallic.Chassis is next.I will cut the back off the original chassis and buil a square tube frame so i can shorten the rearend and tub it to accept the slicks. The interior will be metal as well as a steel roll cage.I'll put together a set of lightning rod shifters with the small round steel stock i purchased at the local hobby shop.Next is the motor which will sport a Hilborn fuel injection system with the real brass tubes.I am waiting now on my slicks ,spark plugs ,spark plug boots ,steel braided line ,line fittings ,and valve stems. The model leaves Friday to a buddy of mine Brian Chetti for the airbrush work.I have titled the Pro Mod "Satans Nightmare".Brian will airbrush to accomodate the name.Well guys until next time.
